20 Mot Tavrü
Hiking trail
Schweizerischer Nationalpark - Val Tavrü is of historic importance to the National Park. From 1911 to 1936, when the whole valley was part of the Park, it formed the boundary to our vast nature reserve.
Today cattle graze at Alp Tavrü, and the red deer withdraw during the day to the neighbouring valley of Val Foraz. They can generally be well observed from Mot Tavrü.
