Biosfera Val Müstair - A warm welcome to the Grond family at the Hotel Helvetia, who are the fourth generation to run the hotel.

Tradition is one of the cornerstones of the Hotel Helvetia’s success in Müstair – no wonder, then, that the hotel is now run by the Grond family, now in its fourth generation. This is also why so many regular guests feel so at home here. The old and new parts of the building have been carefully blended to form a harmonious whole that is well worth seeing. The hotel has 26 rooms, all fitted with larch flooring, Swiss stone pine furniture and Swiss stone pine cushions. The Grond family and their staff are renowned for their cuisine, which is famous even beyond the valley. With a deep passion for the art of cooking, the two brothers, Pierre-René and Olivier, conjure up local, regional and international dishes. Wherever possible, the ingredients are sourced from the valley itself, in keeping with the principles of Biosfera Val Müstair.
